SPOT Site Preplan On-Board Technology

Fully integrated with RSI's core AVL system and CAD, RSI’s SPOT™ software not only gives field personnel crucial site specific preplan information, but it automatically updates and changes CAD status using GPS based location and in-vehicle/field data. This full end-to-end integrated solution brings both speed and precision to the art of emergency and fire response by presenting firefighters all of their relevant and critical emergency site preplan information in an easy-to-read and easy-to-access computer interface. No longer will firefighters have to fumble through cumbersome binders, notebooks, and maps. SPOT™ software runs on a Microsoft Windows platform on in-vehicle laptops and minimizes the use of a mouse. Customizable to each individual department, SPOT's™ open ended design allows it to be altered for specific needs or applications. Fully navigable multi-layered maps with precise vehicle and incident locations as well other information such as hydrants, pipes, sewers, etc., can be turned on and off at certain zoom levels to prevent screen cluttering. Status buttons automatically update the CAD system as well as offer quick pull-down menus for firefighters to pick a specific status option.



Brightly colored info bars signal in a glance if there is a preplan with crucial information or dangers that the firefighter should now about each individual site. All information about each site is available in a click of a button.

Auto Pan feature keeps the vehicle and incident on screen at all times as the vehicle approaches the destination.



Fully navigable multi-layered city maps with precise vehicle and incident locations as well other information such as hydrants, pipes, sewers, etc., can be turned on and off at certain zoom levels to prevent screen cluttering.
