The key features and benefits of the RSI AVL system revolve around the wireless transmission of data between the vehicle and your dispatch. From a basic AVL system, you will have real-time location, speed, heading and status data for your entire fleet. The In-Vehicle unit can be connected to any devices or sensors including doors, lights, etc. and has the ability to monitor student loading/unloading.  In addition, any variety of in-vehicle computing devices such as ID Readers or MDT’s can be connected to the In-Vehicle unit allowing for two-way messaging and pupil tracking.

RSI can work with any ID technology to monitor loading and unloading activity including: RF ID (tags and cards), magnetic stripe cards, bar codes and others. The system is designed to be fully integrated with other vendor applications including routing, scheduling and maintenance programs.
