About Us History

RSI was founded in 1990 to address the emerging needs of integrating GPS positioning technology with wireless communication systems and Geographic Information System (GIS) digital mapping technology for AVL and other tracking systems.
 
RSI has more than 250 AVL and Mobile Data systems in place worldwide, encompassing thousands upon thousands of mobile units installed. These systems span over a wide variety of fleet types including applications in public safety, transit, school buses, utilities and public works. This segmented and specialized focus has let us understand the issues critical to implementing AVL/GPS with success in these dynamic markets.
 
Products are developed and designed by RSI and manufactured in state of the art facilities for guaranteed low cost and reliability. Installation and implementation is typically overseen by RSI staff at a client's site.
